If Mum knew how close her new bed is to the

nuclear weapons base which has threatened her 

for well over half of her life, I don't know whether

she would invade it - or whitewash the windows 

(recommended response in the 80's to a nuclear attack, but not

if it's actually on your doorstep. In which case, no 

recommended response.)
